  • The Gardner Bullis PTA’s annual auction is the PTA’s largest fundraiser and community building event. This adult-only event includes cocktails, dinner, an online and  live auction and dancing. All Gardner parents, teachers and staff are invited to attend. Visit our Auction page for more details!

  • The Book Fair provides a terrific opportunity for families to select great books for their children, family and friends.  Hundreds of wonderful books are available for purchase, and make great holiday gifts!  Gardner Bullis earns books and credits to support our library and classrooms. 

     

    Volunteers are at the heart of a successful book fair! Sign up on Classroom Parent to help with any of the following: set-up, decorations, cashiers, shopping helpers, etc.

  • BookQuest is our book publishing activity for kids who love to write or illustrate. Order a kit and your child's work will be turned into a real book!

    • Deadline to order the BookQuest kits is Sunday, November 3, 2024
    • Kits will be delivered to classrooms before Thanksgiving (tentative)
    • Deadline to turn in completed book kits will be Friday, January 17, 2025
    • BookQuest celebration will be Friday, March 21, 2025

  • Field day occurs on the last Friday of the school year. It is a great day of fun and friendly competition across all grade levels at the school, featuring events such as:

    • Long jump
    • Relay race
    • Three-legged race
    • Dirty diaper toss
    • Obstacle course
    • Water balloon toss
    • Tug-of-war
  • This annual, fun-filled, all inclusive, inter-school track meet celebrating physical education in LASD. Fourth, fifth, and sixth graders from all seven district elementary schools compete in both traditional and nontraditional track and field events.     Multicultural Fair is a weeklong exploration and celebration of cultures and customs from around the world.

  • The Science Family Night is a live demonstration of many fun, hands-on, science experiments and demonstrations for children in Grades K-6.

  • Gardner’s STEM Expo invites students in grades TK-6 to participate! While engaging in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) projects, students will have an opportunity to design hands-on projects while exploring just how fun STEM can be!   • Gardner holds a number of Spirit Days throughout the year.  The themes for the days are selected by the student council.  In the past we have held pajama day, Disney day, crazy hair day, Hawaiian Day, etc.  These will be announced in the Bear Tracks and will be put onto the Gardner Calendar as the events are set.

  • Gardner Bullis School participates in the National "Walk to School Day" each October.  Students meet at designated locations and walk together to school!

  • This PTA fundraiser is the largest school community event of the year and the fundraising is powered by students! Students will walk laps around the school and go through Grizzly Color Splash stations along the way. With each lap, students will earn incentives.

  • Sixth graders hold various fundraisers to pay for both a gift for the school and a 6th grade graduation party.
