Hear about cool tech  projects, use of Google tools, implementation of Edmodo and more tech resources in classrooms across our district.

FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS PARADE

Join your friends and neighbors on Sunday, November 25 at 6:00p for an amazing Los Altos holiday tradition! Since 1977, the Festival of Lights Parade has brought "A Child's Holiday Fantasy" to life -- and with renovated floats and newly lit costumes, this year will be our brightest year yet! Visit www.losaltosparade.com for a route map and viewing guidelines (for example, please do not set up before noon on Sunday, and do not use chalk or tape to mark your spots), or even to volunteer!

My First Art Class (for kids ages 1.5-5), fencing classes including Basic Sabre and Open Sabre, plus LED Light Sabre (for ages 7+) and Crazy About Horses Day (for kids ages 6 years and up) start the week of November 12 with Los Altos

Recreation.

Also, now through November 26, entry forms are being accepted for the Los Altos Recreation Department's annual Gingerbread House Exhibit! Applications and rules are available online at LosAltosRecreation.org or at the

Camp Candy Cane for 3.5 to 7 Year Olds
Your favorite Los Altos Recreation camp leaders are returning for this second annual holiday-themed camp. Camp will be filled with art projects, gift making, baking, music, and a surprise visit by "You Know Who"! All supplies and snacks provided, and all activities are tailored for the appropriate age groups.
 
Los Altos Recreation Leaders are ready to celebrate the holidays with you. Each day, we will start with games and age appropriate activities.  In the afternoon, Kids Kab will take the group to local places.  Participants will need to stay in groups and will have opportunities to explore.
