From dance and theatre, to art, to sports, to technology and more, after school programs give students the opportunity to explore new interests, learn new skills, and have a lot of fun. Gardner Bullis’ PTA works with outside vendors to offer exciting after school enrichment classes at Gardner Bullis.

After School Programs, are offered on a trimester basis and new registration is required for each trimester. Starting this fall 2019, we are moving enrollment to a single online portal called Homeroom. Homeroom makes things much easier for parents by allowing them to see and register for all classes and for multiple children all on one platform.

After School Mandarin Immersion

The Los Altos Chinese School provides an after school Mandarin immersion program. Please visit their website for more information and to register.

Cub Scouts

Cub Scout Pack 78 is open to all boys and girls in grades 1-5 who attend Gardner Bullis. Each grade level has Cub Scout "Dens" that meet monthly to work on achievements or go on outings. Cub Scouts in all grade levels gather once a month for pack meetings where we officially recognize their achievements, participate in a fun group activity or community service project. Cub Scouts can go camping, race cars in the Pinewood Derby, launch rockets, and more. For more information, please visit the Pack 78 Website.

Flag Football

Flag Football is a CO-ED, recreational program that allows girls and boys to compete together in a team sport representing their school, to have fun and learn fundamental football skills without the collisions of tackle football. For more details, please visit LASD Flag Football Website

After School Adventures at Hidden Villa

After a full day of school, give your child the chance to spend their afternoons exploring Hidden Villa's farm and wilderness. Our education staff will help students self-direct their learning as they work in small groups  to engage with our farm animals, observe wild critters, take hikes through the forest, discover native plants, cultivate their green thumbs, and express their creativity and curiosity in a natural setting. Through inquiry-based learning, this program will reinforce the new Next Generation Science Standards used in most classrooms and feel more like play than instruction. Your children will come home from Hidden Villa full of fresh air and more closely connected to our natural world.

This is an 11 week program, taking place one day a week through the semester. For full details or to register, visit the Hidden Villa Website.

  • It is up to the parents to notify the after school program if a student is sick and will not attend.

  • Please contact the individual program coordinators directly with questions and once classes start, the individual coordinators should still be your first point of contact -- and NOT the school office.
